The astute among you may note that this compact SUV has four trims; that may be true, but today we’re going to highlight the two that are sandwiched in the middle: the 2019 Honda CR-V EX and the 2019 Honda CR-V EX-L.
The main thing to note about these vehicles are the different features they both add. The 2019 CR-V EX-L comes with everything on the 2019 CR-V EX and adds more. It’s up to you to decide if the features added are worth the extra $2,500 on the MSRP.

Features on the 2019 Honda CR-V EX
The 2019 Honda CR-V EX replaces the base engine with a 190-horsepower 1.5-liter turbocharged powerplant. The transmission becomes a CVT with Sport Mode. It also adds in the Honda Sensing® suite, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration, and a 7-inch display audio touchscreen. A one-touch power moonroof with a tilt feature rounds out the interior design.
Convenience features include HondaLink®, remote engine start and Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock®. The driver is further assisted with gizmos such as the blind spot information system with cross traffic monitor and auto high-beam headlights.
Just like on the base trim, all-wheel drive with an Intelligent Control System™ is available.
Features on the 2019 Honda CR-V EX-L
The 2019 Honda CR-V EX-L comes with all the standard features on the EX and adds a leather-trimmed interior, power tailgate, power-adjustable seating, automatic-dimming rearview mirror, heated body-colored power side mirrors (including integrated indicators), a two-position memory driver’s seat, the HomeLink® remote system, and a 180-Watt audio system with eight speakers.
Just like on the preceding trims, real-time all-wheel drive with an Intelligent Control System™ is available.
