2024 Honda Prologue Review

According to EPA estimates, the Prologue’s 296-mile driving range is the highest standard driving range in its class. This best-in-class standard is sure to appeal to EV buyers who are big travelers.. 

The front-wheel drive Prologue driver commands 212 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque.The all-wheel drive Prologue driver commands 288 horsepower and 333 lb-ft of torque. Yet it still maintains a long electric range of either 273 or 281 miles.

With a DC fast charger, the electric Honda can get back on the highway quickly. It can add 65 miles of range in ten minutes. In the time it takes to eat lunch, most drivers can restore the full charge if needed to reach their destination.

To keep you aware of the nearest charging stations, Google Maps tells you where your options are and when you might need to stop. As you near your charging destination, the system will signal for the EV battery pack to be preconditioned. This reduces charge times when traveling long distances.

Every Prologue is thoroughly modern with an 11-inch digital instrumentation screen and a 11.3-inch touchscreen. Google Built-in provides digital services, including Google Assistant and Google Play.

Your Google Maps will always be ready to help you find the best route and locate the charging stations on the way. Over-the-air software updates will add more functionality to key EV computer modules.

Whether by touch, by steering wheel control, or by voice control, the Prologue driver has options on how to interact with the displays. There’s even a convenient finger rest to help steady the driver’s hand.

Touring trim levels add leather upholstery and utilize similar black-charcoal or light gray-charcoal color schemes. Prologue Elite trims do the same with perforated leather and top quality materials throughout the cabin.

2024 Honda Prologue Elite front seats are power-ventilated, helping drivers beat the Phoenix Arizona desert heat. Other Elite standards include the Sport driving mode and a heated leather-clad steering wheel. A large 7x3-inch head up display puts important information on the Prologue Elite windshield.

Both trims have panoramic sunroofs that can provide awesome views of the sky or of the mountains. Likewise, both have a bespoke audio system specially engineered for the Prologue EV.
