2025 Honda Odyssey Review

For over 25 years, the Odyssey has been America’s retail #1 minivan. According to Urban Science DataHub retail data, the Odyssey claimed one-third of the market as of May 2024 (CYTD).

This top seller is produced at the Alabama Honda plant. Another Alabama facility manufactures its V6 engine, and a Georgia factory manufactures its 10-speed automatic transmission.

For the 2025 model year, Honda has made improvements to this popular ride. There are updates to the style, technology, and amenities that are sure to please families today.

Creating a premium product, regardless of trim level, Honda manages to combine exterior elegance with functionality.  For the new model year, Honda has toned up the fascia, making changes to the front and rear. The grille is new, too, and it is perfectly integrated with the minivan’s sly headlights.  Vertical reflectors dress the rear in a style originated by the second-generation Acura NSX supercar.

Sport-L Odysseys have a blacked-out look that includes gloss black accents on the C-pillar, fog light surround, grille, headlights, tail lights, and other darkened trim elements.  New exterior colors for the Odyssey include Smoke Blue Pearl and Sonic Silver Metallic.

Power sliding doors and a power tailgate add convenience, making it easy to load and unload, whether you're carrying groceries or preparing for a family road trip. The top trim adds hands-free functionality, making it even easier to open the cargo hold.
