Performance
With its upgraded V6 engine, the new Honda Passport in Phoenix has plenty of power. Drivers command a hefty 285 horsepower with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This new generation upgrade includes seven (7) driving modes, capable of customizing responses to fit conditions.
With available all-wheel drive, the Passport makes the most out of this power outlay at slow speeds for off-roading and at high speeds for easier highway driving. Fuel costs are kept in check by the use of regular rather than premium gasoline.
The i-VTM4 system allows for more power to flow to the rear wheels. Instead of a maximum 50/50 split, Honda all-wheel drive can split torque 30/70. This gives the rear wheels an extra boost just when it’s needed most.
Utility
With its penchant for adventure, this big SUV is happy to tow. With a standard tow hitch to get you started, the tow rating is 5,000 pounds. That should take care of a camper or boat trailer.

The front row has a wide console with plenty of room for storage. The outboard reclining seats have an extra 1.3 inches of rear legroom compared to the previous generation of the new Honda Passport in Phoenix.
Technology
In the new Honda Passport, you'll find a sophisticated 12.3-inch touchscreen with convenience of Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and built-in HondaLink apps. The high-tech cockpit is equipped with a 10.2-inch digital driver’s screen, a wireless charger for your smartphone, a push-button start for easy ignition, and a unique push-button shifter for controlling the transmission.

Safety
In the new Honda Passport, safety is a top priority. Honda has equipped every Passport SUV with the HondaSensing suite of driver assistance features. Standards includes lane keeping assist, road departure mitigation, and lane departure warning for monitoring the sides of the vehicle. For forward travel, the Passport offers collision warning, a mitigation braking system, and adaptive cruise control.
In addition to these essential safety features, Honda provides blind spot monitoring and a rear cross traffic watch. Moreover, front and rear parking sensors are ready to complement the 3-view rearview camera. These sensors provide audible alerts to help drivers navigate and park in tight spaces.
