Phoenix-area drivers who have their hearts set on the Honda Ridgeline pickup truck will find an abbreviated lineup that provides four trim levels – Sport, RTL, RTL-E and Black Edition – that will make it simpler to find the right fit. The 2019 Honda Ridgeline is available in six trims – RT, Sport, RTL, RTL-T, RTL-E and Black Edition. Honda Ridgeline models will retain the Dual Action Tailgate, weather-sealed In-Bed Trunk®, Truck Bed Audio System and in-bed 115-volt power source that have made it a popular option in the midsize pickup truck segment.
2020 Honda Ridgeline vs 2019 Honda Ridgeline: Engine Options and Specs
Next-generation 2020 Honda Ridgeline entries will employ the same 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine with Variable Cylinder Management that is a staple of its predecessor. An upgraded nine-speed automatic transmission will be standard in the 2020 Honda Ridgeline and will replace the six-speed automatic gearbox. With this combination under the hood, the 2020 Honda Ridgeline with Real Time AWD™ will earn 19 mpg in the city, 24 mpg on the highway and 21 mpg combined*. The previous 2019 Honda Ridgeline with AWD will achieve 18 mpg in the city, 25 mpg on the highway and 21 mpg combined**.
2020 Honda Ridgeline vs 2019 Honda Ridgeline: Safety and Technology Features
Tailor-made for the family on the go, the 2020 Honda Ridgeline will upgrade safety with the addition of standard Honda Sensing® safety systems – which include a Collision Mitigation Braking System™ with Forward Collision Warning, a Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control. Honda Sensing® was previously only available for Ridgeline RTL-E and Black Edition trim levels. To upgrade entertainment, the 2020 Honda Ridgeline will come standard with an 8-inch Honda Display Audio system with access to Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
