Performance
The 1.5-liter turbo engine has a special cold-active catalyst. This unique combination helps it spit out 192 horsepower. The torque rate is an excellent 192 lb-ft.
This makes the Accord speedy despite its generous size. Furthermore, it maintains its fuel efficiency by providing an idle-stop function for traffic lights.
With two sources of power, the Accord Hybrid can claim a combined rate of 204 horsepower. The engine produces 146 horsepower while the electric hybrid system produces 181 horsepower. The engine’s 134 lb-ft of torque is augmented by the electric system’s 247 lb-ft.
The hybrid system is notable for its unique side-by-side placement of the electric motors. Furthermore, its electronic transmission is notable for Linear Shift Control which makes it feel like a traditional automatic.
Fuel efficiency is a major plus with both the regular and hybrid Accord sedans. With the regular turbo, the Accord still earns 32 mpg combined. On the interstate, the rating is 37 mpg. Of course the 2025 Honda Accord Hybrid is the thriftiest. It can claim either 46/41/44 mpg or 51/44/48.

Utility
While sedans aren’t always noted for utility, the 2025 Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid really stand out. That’s because they have the largest trunks in the midsize sedan segment.
At 16.7 cubic feet, the Accord class-leading trunk is as large or larger than the cargo hold in some SUVs. Plus it has a wide opening to make loading easier. Of course, it lets you fold the second row to expand carrying capacity. It even offers a self-opening trunk lid.
Furthermore, the new Honda Accord has an enormous passenger cabin, measuring 105.7 cubic feet. That’s also the largest in the class. It allows the Accord to claim a remarkable 40.4 inches of second-row legroom, easily seating adult passengers.
Interior
What do you want from a new midsize sedan? There’s a good chance that the Honda Accord menu covers your needs. A 10-way power chair for the driver can be augmented with memory features and paired with a power-adjustable front passenger seat.

Technology
Honda places a touchscreen at a slight angle to make sure it’s within the driver’s reach. The 7-inch color screen is paired with a 10.2-inch driver’s screen, one of the largest standards in the class. Furthermore, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available to send your smartphone apps right to the screen.
You can keep your hands on the wheel thanks to features like SMS text messaging and speed-sensitive audio volume. Three USB-C ports and available wireless charger can keep your smartphone ready.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are added when you step up to the 12.3-inch touchscreen with HD Radio. This adds Google Built-in interface, including Google Assistant, Google Play, and Google Maps. At its best equipped, the cabin can surround you with sound from a 12-speaker Bose system.
Safety
The new Honda Accord Hybrid and gas-powered twin are equipped with upgraded airbags for the most assured protection. To prevent accidents, there are 10 driver assistance features. This includes front collision mitigation including warnings and an emergency autobrake.
