Honda Ridgeline Exterior Design and Frame 

With the debut of the 2021 Honda Ridgeline, the Honda-brand pickup truck features an updated style that adds standard skid plates to improve performance on the trail. Armed with standard 18-inch alloy wheels that are wider than its predecessor, the 2021 Honda Ridgeline possesses a wide stance that will improve capability on the trail. All-terrain tires with a more aggressive sidewall ensure that the Honda Ridgeline is ready for adventure. Honda Ridgeline models employ an independent rear suspension with unibody construction and a fully-boxed frame that promote a best-in-class ride.  

Honda Ridgeline 3.5-Liter VTEC® V-6 Engine 

When you hit the trail, the 2021 Honda Ridgeline will provide the reliable power that you need when faced with rugged terrain. Honda Ridgeline models are powered by a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter VTEC® V-6 engine that makes 262 pound-feet of torque and is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. When properly equipped, the Honda Ridgeline will tow up to 5,000 pounds of cargo with a maximum payload of 1,530 pounds. 

Honda Ridgeline i-VTM4® AWD System 

Honda Ridgeline models are available with an innovative all-wheel drive system – i-VTM4® Intelligent Torque-Vectoring AWD – that lends itself to mud-slingin’ thrills on the trail. The Honda i-VTM4® AWD system uses an intelligent array of sensors to send up to 70% of available torque to the rear wheels and can alternate up to 100% of torque between the left and right rear wheels based on the level of traction at each wheel. The Intelligent Traction Dynamics System will allow you to tailor performance to fit the terrain with Mud and Sand Modes.
